See you at IGNITE! Discrepancy.ai founder Lisen Kaci will be attending the IGNITE Conference in Toronto this year. Hosted by Benefits Alliance, Ignite is a 2 day gathering and industry-leading conference focused on connecting stakeholders for the future of health benefits, employee wellness, and insurance in Canada.

Between April 7-8, 2025, Ignite will bring together advisors, carriers, and innovators in Toronto for an info-packed schedule of panel discussions on pressing issues in the industry. From rising drug costs to virtual care and overall health planning, the conference will bring together key stakeholders to learn, engage, and discuss issues on policy. This year’s keynote speakers include experts from Manulife, Canada Life, Bluesky Strategy Group, and Sunlife. Experts will be sharing trends and industry expectations shaping 2025, and spotlight the economic headwinds, legislative changes, and health trends occurring across the population. These trends will ultimately impact how benefits plans are structured and designed, so whether you’re an advisor, a policymaker, or building new tools, this is where you want to be.

From the role pharmacogenetics play in reducing drug reactions, the challenges of providing virtual care, and the challenges and opportunities involved in putting fertility and cancer benefits into more plans, conversations are designed to provide expert advice and insight from the front lines. The conference includes panels and breakout sessions around drug policy, personalized medicine, and plan design – with commentary from industry speakers who face benefits plan issues day to day.

With voices from AGA Benefit Solutions, Innovative Medicines Canada, and the Government Relations teams, this year’s conference promises insight into emerging risks and opportunities. Beyond the sessions, we’re looking forward to chatting with industry stakeholders and reflecting on the new ideas!

And, since it’s the first annual Ignite conference, we’re excited to be part of something new! Benefits Alliance is a not-for-profit association of group experts who speak on behalf of plan members, through the eyes of advisors across Canada. At last year’s Spark Conference, Benefits Alliance facilitated real discussions around mental health, private healthcare, and care delivery across Canada.
